Often times, these companies are able to buy hair at a lower cost because it’s the hair scraps found on temple floors from multiple people, which then must be dyed a solid color, so that is looks like it’s from the same head. This also makes cuticle alignment difficult to attain. These scraps are then combed, threaded in wefts and processed with chemicals to give it sheen. With hair extensions, if you purchase hair that is bundled with hairs in two different directions, it will become matted, tangled and damaged no matter how well you try to maintain it.
