Tru Extensions sources its hair from temples located in several countries including China, India, Vietnam, Brazil, Peru and Malaysia. We have forged partnerships to ensure that the bundles of hair extensions we sell are cut from the same donor so that hair is one color and hair type. We make sure donors are not giving hair that has been permed, colored or bleached and that our hair is not treated after it has been collected. Our hair extensions are 100% human hair and 100% virgin hair.
Cuticle-Alignment
Once hair has been cut, the hair is aligned by the cuticles (roots). So, cuticle-alignment means hair strands are aligned ends with the ends and the root of the hair is aligned with the roots. This minimizes hair damage when you are brushing, combing or styling your extensions because you aren’t coming some hairs in the wrong direction. For example, if you tried to comb or flat iron your natural #hair from the ends to the root, doing so would damage your hair tangling it or breaking it off. Cuticle-aligned hair also accounts for fewer short pieces in a bundle.
